Matches against Other Clubs
Strathendrick Curling Club takes part in a number of competitions with other clubs.
- Robert Paterson Shield ("A" League)
- A series of eight matches against other teams within the Province. The matches take place from September to March at Stirling Ice Rink. Details may be obtained by following this link. Robert Paterson Shield
- Forest Hills League ("B" League)
- A series of five matches against other teams within the Province. The matches take place from September to March at Braehead Curling Rink. Details may be obtained by following this link. Forest Hills League
- Forth and Endrick Knockout (Jim Carswell Cup)
- A knockout competition held at Stirling Ice Rink. A Strathendrick team is entered each year. Details may be obtained by following this link. Forth & Endrick Knockout
- Province Medal
- This is played for at Stirling Ice Rink in October or November each year. Two Strathendrick teams will play two 4 end matches each against four teams from the Province. Details may be obtained by following this link. Province Medal
- Gordon Mitchell Rosebowl
- This is played for at Stirling Ice Rink on February each year. Two Strathendrick teams will play two 4 end matches each against four teams from the Province. Details may be obtained by following this link. Gordon Mitchell Rosebowl
- Province Weekend (Forest Hills Trophy)
- This is played at Kinross Curling Rink each October. A Strathendrick team is entered to compete against other Province clubs for the right to represent the Province at the RCCC Province Championship. Details may be obtained from the Province website by following this link. Province Weekend
- Area 6 Bonspiel
- This is played for at Stirling Ice Rink each year. A Strathendrick team is entered each year to play against a team from another Province within Area 6. Details may be obtained by following this link. Area 6 Bonspiel
- Area 6 Knockout
- This is played for at Stirling Ice Rink in January each year. A Strathendrick team is entered this year to play in a knockout competition with teams from other Provinces within Area 6. Details may be obtained by following this link. Area 6 Knockout
- District Medal
- A Strathendrick team is entered each year to play in the RCCC District Medal against another RCCC registered club. Details will be entered in curling fixtures once the match has been arranged.
- Ballikinrain Cup
- 2 Strathendrick teams play each year in the Ballikinrain Cup against teams from Balfron and Fintry Curling Clubs. This trophy dates back to the days of outside competitions but is now competed for on inside ice. See curling fixtures for more details.
- Balyarrow Trophy
- 4 Strathendrick teams play every 3 years in the Balyarrow trophy against teams from Haddington, Bridge of Weir, Falkland and St Andrews Curling Clubs. This trophy was inaugurated in 1996, when the 5 clubs all celebrated their 150th anniversary. The next competition is due to take place in 2011.
