Autumn League 2011, Team Members

The Mixed League is the main on-going competition of the season.

For 2011/12 there will be two competitions, one before Christmas and one after. Before Christmas each of 7 teams plays every other team once to decide the league winner. The team members will be redrawn for the Spring league.

The teams for the sessions up to Christmas 2011 are given below. Click on the team number to see the team's fixtures.

Skips are responsible for organising transport to games (although not expected to drive on all occasions). It is expected that everyone will take their share of providing the transport (or at least offering).

If the skip is unable to play then the 3rd shall assume the skip's role and duties. Only if both skip and 3rd are unavailable can a reserve play as skip.

Where teams consist of five players, skips shall rotate the Team taking account of the availability of players.

RULES

Usual rules of eight ends or the bell; results decided by points, ends, shots up then shots for.

Team 2 : Donnie MacDonald, Betty Meikle, Tony Flisch, Gill Smith, Phillip Pain.
Team 3 : Stephen Holden, Maurice Rennie, Jim Meikle, Gillian Kingslake, Matt Gingles.
Team 4 : Michael Jackson, David Hale, Eddie Redman, John O'Neill.
Team 5 : Fiona Glass, Archie Banks, Stan Moore, Richard Kingslake.
Team 6 : Norman Robertson, John Anderson, George Harris, Sandy Park.
Team 7 : Sheila Sturrock, Walter Macgowan, John Bowie, Rita Harris, Dennis Pattenden.

RESERVES

Members who are willing to reserve are given below. In addition any members of the teams which do not have a match on the day a reserve is required may be willing to play. However, players seeking a substitute ARE REQUIRED to try the Reserve List before asking a member of another team to play.
