The Annual General Meeting of the Strathendrick Curling Club was held on Thursday 5th October 1899 in the Old Session House. 21 members were present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted.

The annual subscription for the Season 1899/1900 was fixed at 3/-.

The election of Office Bearers was then proceeded with. The following being duly elected:
Patron - Colonel Peter Blackburn
Patroness - Mrs Blackburn
President - Mr David Edmond
Vice Presidents - Messrs John Paul Snr, Alex Stephen Snr and David Wilson.
Representative members - Messrs R Buchanan and John Paul Jnr.
Chaplain - Rev A G Mitchell
Secretary & Treasurer - Mr John Wilson.

Committee

The Committee of Management were re-elected with the exception of Rev A G Mitchell in room of Mr R Buchanan deceased - also Mr Alex Thompson to be added to same. Five to form a quorum, with the Secretary as convenor.

Skips

It was agreed that there should be six Skips and also that not more than two skips in each rink be allowed to go to any match so long as other members were on the ice willing to play. There were 12 nominations and the result of the Ballot was as follows:
Walter Aitken (19 votes) No.6, John Paul Jnr (16 votes) No.3, David Wilson (16 votes) No.1, Jas Gourlay (13 votes) No.4, Robert Buchanan (13 votes) No.5,
David Edmond (11 votes) No.2.

The Pond to be cleaned and repaired in the usual manner.

The Pond Committee and the Medal Committee were re-elected.

It was agreed that the Club treat the visiting club and that the home players pay half the expense. Such expense not to exceed 1/- per head. Each Skip to collect same from his rink.

A meeting of the Management Committee was held this evening -
Present - Messrs. D Edmond, John Paul, R Buchanan, R Simpson, W Gourlay, J Gourlay,
D Goodwillie, Alex Stephen & J Wilson.
Business - Letter from Killearn Estate Factor regarding drain from Curling Pond - The Committee after discussing the matter do not think that the water from the Pond is the means of bursting the drain - as it appears there is not much to do to the drain, they will at this time repair it and make good any damage done to the [word illegible].
Messrs. D Edmond, R Buchanan & J Paul were appointed to examine the drain and have it repaired -the Secretary was instructed to write to Mr Johnstone and inform him of the finding of the meeting.
