1900 AGM minutesThe Annual General Meeting of the Strathendrick Curling Club was held on Thursday 11th October 1900 in the Old Session House. 20 members were present. An apology for absence from the meeting was read from D Edmund Esq. President. In his absence, Mr Stephen Vice-President was called to the Chair. The minutes of the last Annual General Meeting and also those of Committee Meeting of date 12 March 1900 were read and approved of. The Treasurer's Report showing a credit Balance of £1 10s 4d was read and unanimously adopted. J Thomson moved and R Simpson seconded that the annual subscription of members should this year be 2/-. The election of Office Bearers was then proceeded with. The following being duly elected: CommitteeThe retiring Committee of Management were re-elected. Rule as to number of SkipsThe rule passed at last Annual General Meeting as to number of skips etc. was re-adopted with the additional provision that it should be competent for the Skips to pick a third man whether he be on the ice or not. PondMr William Gourlay undertook to see to the cleaning and repairing of the Pond in the usual manner. The Pond Committee were re-elected with the addition of the Secretary. Case for medalsIt was moved, seconded and agreed to that a Committee of five be appointed to arrange for the purchase of a Box for the medals of the Club - to be ready by 1st January? next. An amendment to the effect that the Secretary purchase a case for medals having received 6 votes as against 9 votes for the motion, which became the finding of the meeting. The following were elected as members of the said Committee Messrs D Fairlie, A Stephen, W Morrison, W Gourlay and the Secretary. The Secretary to be Convenor. SkipsA vote was taken by ballot for skips, there being 12 nominations. The result of the Ballot was as follows: A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the proceedings.
