For anyone who wants a more adventurous day, there is likely to be a party walking form Killearn (but not back!). | Friday 3 September 2010 | Golf Outing and Quiz Held at Buchanan Castle Golf Club. You don't need to be good at golf! We welcome inexperienced golfers as well as the regulars to play 12 holes of a Texas Scramble in a team starting late afternoon. The golf is followed by refreshments, high tea and a not too serious General Knowledge Quiz in the Clubhouse. Bob Glass will be issuing details nearer the time. |
| November 2010 (actual date TBC) | Annual Dinner Dance Likely to be either the Winnock Hotel or the Buchanan Arms, Drymen. Coach will be arranged from Killearn. A regular feature is our giant raffle in aid of club funds. All contributions of prizes are very welcome! |
| Sunday 2 January 2011 | Annual New Year Meander We will meander around the village in our traditional first footing fashion with gifts (optional) and at least one bottle (essential) visiting various venues. Refreshments and / or seasonal fare will be available at all stops. Members and guests are free to join or leave the meander at any stage. Meanderers should wear outdoor clothing and stout waterproof footwear to cover all conditions as the weather can be unreliable! 2011 Route will be decided nearer the date. |
